Hi Future Students & Doula Birth Family!  Allow me to introduce myself.  I have been helping create happier “BIRTH” days for over 36 years now in a variety of capacities.  I began my journey as a Bradley Method® student when pregnant with my first child in 1990.  I had the pleasure to train with The Hathaway’s and Dr Robert A. Bradley in Atlanta in September of 1991.  I am happy to share my both my farm & barn house classroom, as well as, my wealth of knowledge to help you give birth with as few medical interventions as possible.  I like to call it not just natural childbirth, but #SymbioticBirth… I use this term because although some give birth at home or in out of hospital birth centers, most still utilize a hospital setting to give birth.  In the hospital, we have a different set of obstacles to birth drug-free.  It is still doable, you just face a variety of routine interventions.  With education, you can learn what is medically necessary and what is not.  How to acquire informed consent and how to utilize all those hospital things to benefit YOU & YOUR BABY!  After all, you are paying a high price for a service and you should expect something you want for your money!  Dr. Bradley was a strong advocate of informed consent and avoidance of all routine interventions.  Simply put, do you need it or not?  If not, think twice.  There are risks and benefits to every intervention.  Make the decisions best for YOU!  I would love to come along side your journey into parenthood as your Childbirth Educator or Doula.  Schedule your 30 minute free consult with me and let’s create a happier “BIRTH” day plan for you and your family!
