Kristen’s journey to birth work began in 2017, following the birth of her first baby. She has been a Certified Bradley® Teacher and Bradley® Doula since 2018. Prior to getting into birth work, Kristen attended Notre Dame of Maryland University, where she studied biology and graduated with high honors. She has since become a mother of 2. Both of her children were born without intervention and at home.
When not working, Kristen can be found reading for pleasure, exercising, doing yoga, hiking, gardening, or studying for her lactation consultant license (the IBCLC credential). She resides in Bowie, MD and serves clients within a 50-mile radius of her home.
Reviews from prior students:
“My husband and I took Kristen’s class to support my dreams of an unmedicated birth. We learned so much about birthing naturally, avoiding interventions, and working through labor together. In the end I got my dream birth! We delivered in the hospital and confidently denied (and worked with) the medical staff to support our preferences through quoted studies, avoided all interventions (despite having my water break 2 weeks early before labor began), and gave birth completely naturally with no NICU time. They even released us after 24 hours! It was perfect and Kristen’s class played a huge part in it along with her recommended reading list. 10/10 recommend taking this class if you are planning an all natural birth! SO worth it!” -Allison
“My experience taking Kristen’s Bradley Method® course was just what I needed. I cannot thank Kristen enough for all that she taught my husband and I. For example, the biggest thing that helped me manage each contraction were the counter pressure techniques she had us practice in class. Thanks to her classes and the grace of God, I was able to have a natural, unmedicated birth as I had hoped! They say doing a natural birth is 70% mindset, and I truly believe Kristen’s Bradley Method® course played a HUGE part in giving us the resources, research, education, hands-on practice and CONFIDENCE that we could do this, and we did. I highly recommend her services.” – Faith
“Taking birth classes with Kristen was such a pleasure! She was friendly and really geared the pacing of the class to the group and created great opportunities for conversation and connection between us. The information was useful and well presented and the hands on practice invaluable.” -Peyton
“We traveled from Baltimore to take classes with Kristen and we are so glad we did! She is extremely knowledgeable about pregnancy, preparing for labor and delivery, and the postpartum period, and we felt very informed about what we can expect on this journey! She taught us about nutrition, showed us lots of great pregnancy exercises and techniques for labor, and provided lots of online written and video resources, which were very helpful in keeping both of us, but especially mom, healthy and mobile throughout pregnancy.”
-Laura & Mike
“Kristen is an exceptional childbirth educator. My husband and I learned so much from her class. She is incredibly knowledgeable about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. She provided excellent resources, helpful prenatal exercises, and a variety of effective laboring techniques. As a first-time parent, I now feel far more confident about having an unmedicated birth after taking her class.”

“My husband and I took her Bradley Method® in-person course while expecting our first child. What initially seemed like a mysterious and complicated process was laid out so clearly and realistically that by the time we finished the class, we are alot more confident we can have the unmedicated, natural, birth center birth that we have been planning for. Kristen is not only knowledgeable, but approachable and makes herself completely available to all questions and concerns. You can tell she is very passionate about birth work and the course is well-worth your time!”
