Live Online Courses Available: Yes

I have been teaching since 2010 and moved my classes online in 2021 when meetings in-person were not permitted. This has made it possible for me to offer classes to couples outside my immediate location. I am currently based in northwest Montana, but I gratefully serve couples from many states across the U.S. If you are seeking a natural childbirth course using The Bradley Method®, please e-mail me to get details and a registration form. This is an absolutely amazing journey you are on, and I would be thrilled to help you prepare for a natural labor and birth for your baby!

HOW TO JOIN A CLASS

I am transitioning to teach in an Open-Enrollment format. This means that when you contact me initially, I will work with you based on your due date to get you started at an appropriate time frame to complete the course comfortably before you are due. This way you get the class when you need it! You won’t need to worry about missing the start of a class that was scheduled in a fixed 12-week time frame. Think of it as a semi-custom, personally tailored class.

You will receive a full 12-week series—which is the Bradley Method’s gold standard for prenatal education—but it is more convenient because you can enter the class when it is the right timing for you. Please contact me via e-mail for registration information, pricing, and your personalized class scheduling. I currently offer options for classes on Saturday mornings and Monday evenings.

Have you heard about my classes from some of my own previous students? Give a referral name and save $25 off your tuition cost!

MORE DETAILS

All classes are hosted via Zoom, but please note that if you are registering from outside my time zone (Mountain Time), the class will accommodate with a suitable/modified start time so everyone can participate.

Couples or mother-coach pairs (whether coach is the mother’s mom, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, doula) are encouraged (but not required) to plan to attend a class series that begins by the start of the last trimester, or at five months, if possible.

If when you wish to join a class doesn’t fall right in this time frame, and it will be closer to 28-30 weeks when you are getting started, please consider that the information and skills you will gain in class is highly beneficial and better for you and your baby than not taking the class at all. I will work with you to get you the information you need to be well-prepared.

Oops! Did you forget to register or did you find this class very late in pregnancy? Please get in touch by email or phone! There are still options for couples if this happens.

With regards to class scheduling, it is highly encouraged that you make it a priority. Consider putting other activities that may fall in the class time frame/class day on hold or rescheduling them, if possible, for the weeks needed to prepare for the labor and birth of your child. You will only be pregnant with this baby once, and the occasion deserves all the attention you can give.

Please e-mail me to get a registration form. The start dates for upcoming classes are based on your due date and will be unique to you. I am pleased to share that I have kept my tuition costs the same for the past 10+ years, to make this information as accessible as possible to expecting couples.

I have had couples with first, second, third and even sixth babies, twins, and high risk pregnancies take classes with me over the years. They have birthed at home, in hospital with both doctors and midwives, and at birth centers. No matter which setting you may be considering for your baby’s birth, I know you will benefit immensely from all that a series of Bradley Method® classes has to offer!

STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?

I am happy to provide feedback from previous students about their experience using the Bradley Method® and my classes! Just mention it when contacting.

A Little Personal Background

My interest in and passion for natural childbirth came about after living overseas for several years. I experienced a crash in my overall health under the treatment of doctors in a system where asking questions and gathering information about procedures and options was considered impertinent and disrespecting of the doctor’s knowledge. When my husband suggested we come to the U.S. to give birth to our first child, we began looking into the vast world of childbirth, and thankfully, our searching led us to consider options we hadn’t even realized existed, such as out-of-hospital birth and midwifery care.

A good friend, the husband of a couple I knew well, enthusiastically raved to my husband about the Bradley Method® and how thoroughly it prepared them for their son’s birth. Our midwife also recommended the class as one of the top options for preparing ourselves for birth at their free-standing birth center, which was almost a 4-hour drive away from where we were living. We took the series, had a very peace-filled, satisfying birth, and we were spoiled for anything else.

I noticed that I desired the very best birth experience for every pregnant woman I encountered and found myself naturally supplying them with resources and information on natural childbirth and related topics. It seemed logical to gain the ability to make a bigger and more total impact, so I applied to complete the coursework and training to become an affiliated Bradley® instructor. I have been teaching since March 2010.

We went on to have four other beautiful, healthy babies, all born at home. I am so thankful for how the knowledge and skills we learned have positively impacted our family and each of its members, as well as our attitude towards pregnancy, prenatal care, labor, birth, life with a new baby and beyond!
