JADE CHAPMAN

As the only affiliate instructor in Australia, I offer classes both online and in-person based on student location. I teach open-enrolment classes that offer students the opportunity to jump into a series that has already begun without losing pace or missing out on any material. I am centrally located in Brisbane, QLD. I have taught well over 100 couples since I began in January of 2010.

I have two amazing kiddos, though they are both adults now! My first child was a medicated hospital birth and my second was an all natural Bradley Method® Birth at The Farm Midwifery Clinic in Tennessee. Having experienced both, I can definitely attest to the vast impact of understanding my body and knowing how to work it and not against it!

I have a bachelor degree in Maternal and Child Health with an emphasis in Lactation Consulting and am working on a PhD on Menstrual Theology. I have decades of experiences in teaching of various sorts (from being a squad leader in the US Army, to home education, as well as pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding classes, sex-education, puberty awareness, and even theology). I am passionate about helping people of all ages to gain a better understanding of, respect for and confidence in their bodies. I love research and learning and am open to guiding students to further information is they would like it, but I will never tell you what to do- only you can make the best choice for your body, your Bub and your family. However, I can help you understand research articles and verify accuracy of information. And I am always willing to offer pep talks and encouragement along the way, during birth and even after Bub arrives!

I consider it a true privilege to be invited into the intimate journey towards parenthood (or increased levels of parenthood)! I am thrilled to have the joy of maintaining contact with several of my former students, watching and celebrating with them as their bubs grow into remarkable young people! I hope to have the opportunity to work with you also!
