Welcome! My husband, Richard, and I have been teaching and mentoring together for a decade now and would consider it our privilege to share a 12-week session with you. Feel free to call me anytime, and we can chat about all things birth!

I’m excited to encourage women that *you are capable* of handling the complex childbirth process on your terms with education and support. Dad’s integral role at birth ensures that Mom focuses her efforts without distraction but with constant, knowledgeable support and encouragement–so Dad needs training and a handbook, too! Richard offers experienced insight and mentoring for our coaches in every class.

We run hybrid classes that seamlessly integrate our (limited/first-come) in-person and virtual couples. Because of our format, we can serve parents from all over the country, as well as locally in greater Northern Virginia, Maryland, and DC. We’re centrally located near the Beltway, Fairfax County Pkwy., Rts. 123, 29, 50, 66.

Local students may also choose the virtual option or combine it with in-person attendance, joining virtually as needed for illness and travel.

We have classes for any due date. And if your dates don’t fit exactly into the schedule below, no problem. Just ask me about flexible enrollment.

Tuesdays 7-9:15  p.m.

• Feb. 10 – Apr. 28, 2026        — due dates in/after May

• May 5 – July 28. 2026           — due dates in/after Aug.

• Aug. 4 – Oct. 27, 2026          — due dates in/after Nov.

• Nov. 3, 2026 – Feb. 2. 2027 — due dates in/after Feb. (with time off for the holidays)

Thursdays 7-9:15 p.m.

• Jan. 8 – Mar. 26, 2026           — due dates in/after Apr.

• Apr. 2 – June 25, 2026           — due dates in/after July

• July 2 – Sept. 17, 2026          — due dates in/after Sept.

We work with couples planning hospital births, birth center births, and home births.
