Welcome to Amina’s Affiliated Childbirth Instructor and Doula Page!   

I really love to support couples, moms and babies so they have a great start, smoother transitions, better postpartum recovery and positive empowering experiences every step of the way from pregnancy and birth through postpartum and beyond.  New and growing families!

I have been a pregnancy, labor and birth, postpartum, breastfeeding and newborn educator as well as an affiliated and certified birth and postpartum doula for 24 years.  I have provided support to hundreds of families, moms, dads and babies. 

I have continued my education for over 24 years and have had 4 natural births myself.  I have supported couples with land and waterbirths at their homes, at birth centers and in hospitals in 3 counties / many cities and supported clients from all over the world.  Most of my clients have natural births but I support clients regardless of their choices and circumstances during pregnancy, labor and postpartum. I have guided and supported clients having natural, unmedicated, medicated, surgical with and without specific interventions as well as VBACS and HBACS (at home and in hospital).  I have extensive knowledge of many topics including breastfeeding, lactation and feeding babies of all ages and stages.

My classes prepare couples to:

• stay healthy and low risk during pregnancy,
• birth prep for labor and feel confident about birthing
• how to advocate, navigate and be instinctive throughout their journey
• to have the best possible birth, post birth and postpartum recovery
• how to protect bonding and breastfeeding with your baby
• and much more!

I am currently accepting and supporting new students, birth and postpartum doula clients and am a pregnancy, birth, post birth and newborn photographer.

I support you regardless of when you reach out to me.  It is never too late to prepare and have the best possible experience regardless of where you are in your journey as a parent(s).  I welcome, support and advocate for all clients equally.

I offer group and private sessions year-round and during the day and evening on weekdays and weekends.  Please contact me for details.

Private sessions can be scheduled any time. 

If you are local, in person private and semi-private sessions are available.  I offer birth and postpartum support packages and services which can include classes / private sessions as well as photography. If you are farther away or have really busy schedules, Zoom sessions work great!
