Welcome, and congratulations on your pregnancy!
Registration is open for my classes beginning:
January 8, 2026 (best for due dates in late March through May)
All classes are held in person, allowing for hands-on labor rehearsals, activities, and personal attention!
This is a special time, and your upcoming birth can be an amazing experience! Are you considering a natural, unmedicated birth? You can do it, and our classes can help! You will learn:
How to help reduce pain in labor without drugs through relaxation and other natural techniques;
The natural processes of a normal labor and birth;
How your coach can support you beginning in pregnancy, and continuing through your labor and birth;
How to have a healthy pregnancy through good nutrition and exercise;
How you and your coach can make informed decisions regarding your pregnancy, labor, birth, and beyond;
And much more!
“When we found out we were pregnant we knew there was so much we needed to learn but not sure where to start. Frances’ class was not only comprehensive but Frances herself really made us feel confident in preparing for labor and so much more. If you are looking for a class to help prepare you for all the surprises of pregnancy and labor this class is for you.” – Toni H., 2023 Student
The 12-week series of classes will help ensure that you and your coach feel fully prepared for the upcoming birth of your baby. I have 12 years of experience teaching Bradley Method® classes, and I have continued to further my education in labor, birth, and breastfeeding throughout this time, ensuring that you will receive the most up-to-date information available.
Classes will be held on Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm, and last 2 to 2 1/2 hours. We will meet in Tempe on Southern Ave. just east of the 101. Please contact me for the address.
Each class focuses on a specific topic, and includes discussion about nutrition, exercise during pregnancy, the coach’s role, and a relaxation practice. Most classes incorporate a video. Topics covered in class include healthy nutrition in pregnancy, exercises to help prepare you for labor, what happens during a normal pregnancy and labor, how your body works and how to work with your body in labor, positions and comfort measures to help reduce pain in labor, your options in pregnancy and labor, including the risks and benefits of each, breastfeeding, and more!
“The information on nutrition during pregnancy was the best part of the class! Having accountability to get the right amount of protein each day kept me on track. I’m convinced that’s what helped my baby be as healthy as she was!” – Jenny W., 2022 Student
For more information, including pricing, or to register for class, please email, text, or call at (480) 818-3809. I feel strongly that cost should not prevent anyone from taking classes, and I am happy to work out a payment plan or other strategy if this is a concern for you. If you are concerned about your schedule or not having enough time before baby is due, please contact me to discuss options.
Small class sizes of no more than 8 couples allow personal attention, and encourage long-lasting friendships to be formed with other couples in your class. My husband Lucas co-teaches Classes 4 and 11 to give a coach’s perspective. Classes are complemented with videos, as well as other materials with information on the most current research on a wide variety of subjects related to pregnancy, labor, birth, and breastfeeding. I also include babywearing and cloth diapering demonstrations.
“My partner and I loved the Bradley class and I recommend it to anyone who is planning on having a baby. With all of the prep and planning that comes along with a new baby I feel like this was the most helpful resource for both of us.” – Kaylynn A., 2019 Student
You are always welcome to contact me or Lucas any time about any questions you may have. This access does not end when class does; I have students contact me months or even years later with questions about breastfeeding, postpartum, and subsequent pregnancies or babies. I love to help out whenever I can, no matter how long it has been since you were in class!
“My spouse and I were so fortunate to have Frances Landreth as part of our pregnancy and birthing journey. Her passion, knowledge, and care gave us the confidence to birth our first child into this world as naturally as possible. My partner went from being uncomfortable with the idea of being present in the labor and delivery process to feeling prepared to coach and wanting to catch the baby. As a family nurse practitioner, I was able to gain further knowledge and insight with pregnancy and the birthing process. I definitely recommend taking Bradley classes with Frances if you are interested in having a healthy pregnancy and being set up to have a successful natural delivery.” – Amelia L., 2022 Student
