Michelle and Brent’s journey into birth work began with their own birth experiences. After marrying in 1997, their path to parenthood would shape their future in unexpected ways. Michelle’s first birth was a transformative experience—guided by Bradley Method classes and supported by a doula, she achieved her goal of a low-intervention, natural hospital birth. Their second child was born at home on Christmas night, with the same trusted birth team by their side.
These powerful experiences inspired both Michelle and Brent to become Bradley Method instructors in 2005, beginning their professional journey in birth work.
Today, Michelle leads as the CEO of Baby, Please Birth Services (BPBS), a multi-state doula agency serving NJ, PA, MD, NY, and GA and STILL offering childbirth education classes!
Brent, often warmly referred to as the “doulo,” co-teaches Bradley Method classes with Michelle and specializes in partner-focused workshops, bringing the valuable perspective of a supportive birth partner to their practice.
