Congratulations on your pregnancy! What an exciting new venture for you and your family. If you are here, I have a suspicion it is because you know that what you are about to embark on is a *big* deal, and you aren’t looking to “wing it”. You’ve come to the right place.

In teaching over 150 families the Bradley Method and attending over 200 unmedicated births, my number one goal is to remind you of your ability to bring your baby earthside without unnecessary medical intervention. It sounds easy enough, and yet, I’m sure you’ve heard many birth stories that reinforce how unusual a birth without medications or surgery is today. So, how does the Bradley Method “stack the deck in your favor” and help maximize your opportunity for an unmedicated birth?

It’s simple. It gives Moms *and* Dads the invitation to be at the helm of their healthcare decisions. It encourages women to stay as low risk as possible by discussing nutrition, exercise, and stress management. It covers the stages of labor and birth and realistic scenarios that you may find yourself in for your Birth Day. It discusses the menu of options available to you in the hospital, birth center, and home-based care candidly and offers sage advice on how to work cooperatively with your provider to have the safest outcome for you and your baby. It reminds couples that birth is just the beginning and that teamwork really *does* make the dream work.

And the best part is you don’t have to reinvent the wheel or go at it alone (you have my number and email to reach out at *any* time with questions!) You have someone in your corner who can provide objective information and teach you the time-tested skills and strategies that families have been using for 75 years with success.
