KeymasterThe focus of this discussion forum is an open discussion for members of all training Cohorts to connect with each other. This includes both Candidates and Provisional Affiliates.
As a positive and mutually supportive small learning community, we embrace these norms in our communications in this forum: We promote respectful, inclusive, and meaningful dialogue. We will communicate thoughtfully and professionally, listening actively and responding constructively to differing viewpoints. We strive to make our contributions relevant, well-supported, and clearly written, with considerate grammar and tone. We encourage one another to participate regularly, while allowing space for others to speak and contribute. We will maintain confidentiality and trust by not sharing others’ posts outside the forum without permission. Above all, we seek to foster a collaborative environment where learning is shared and all voices are valued.

KeymasterHi Nikki!
Jon Bek here (Support Manager, using the Admin Account at the moment). We just recently refreshed and updated the Candidate discussion forums. I’m going to ping the leadership team, and ask them to reach out to all current candidates to remind them that this resource is available. Support installed the forums in response to a request from a cohort, but we have likely under-promoted it. It’s clear that there is a lot of enthusiasm in our current candidate cohorts, and an appetite for greater peer interaction and community. We want to facilitate that!
Have a great day!

ParticipantHi All,
Yes, I noticed that in order to see messages in the forum, I had to tick a box that requests that I be notified of posts/follow-ups lest I not miss any posts.
During the recent workshop, some folks left their phone numbers in a google doc, which I still have access to. I’m wondering if anyone ended up making an informal group chat. Do people have a preference for GroupMe or WhatsApp or some other platform? I started making a group on WhatsApp, but it seemed like several of the numbers weren’t on the app, so I’d like to do something thats accessible for as many people as possible.
I’d also love to keep chatting here.
Cheers,

KeymasterHi Grace and Friends!
Support has noticed that the BB Forum software we’re using does not seem to be properly sending email notices to subscribed users. We are researching and testing a fix. Meanwhile, we suggest you check the forums occasionally to see if others have posted or replied to you.
Thanks!
Jon
