💕💕🥳CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!🥳💕💕
Pregnancy and childbirth are truly blessed and amazing experiences!
Although exciting, blessed, and fun, this time can also be unpredictable and let’s face it….somewhat scary!
If this is your first pregnancy, or your fifth, they are all different in their own way. Every mother hopes for a healthy, and uncomplicated pregnancy labor and birth. Sometimes, things don’t always go the way we imagine, but we can prepare ourselves to the best of our ability to make the needed decisions should a change in the plan arise!
I know you and your family want to have the best experience for a healthy baby, mother, and family. I feel, the best way to ensure this, is by educating ourselves as much as possible about these topics. The Bradley Method® provides all encompassing education from nutrition, exercise during pregnancy, husband support, and coaching, pregnancy overall, hospital and home birth policies, all the way to birth, breastfeeding, and postpartum care for mother and baby.
I am so excited to be able to help others have a happy and memorable
experience!!!! I want you to feel knowledgeable, prepared, brave and proud, and confident that you know what to expect throughout your pregnancy, when your labor begins, through birth, and after you meet your baby!
My goal is for you, your husband, and your family to
have a healthy happy pregnancy, labor, birth, and baby!
May you have a Happy Birthday!!!!
Prayers & Best Wishes,
Valerie

My Birth Stories:(there are 10 of them)
Baby #1
WOW! I have to say….nothing is quite like a first labor! This Birth was the beginning of my Birth Worker Journey! We learned soooo much! I was induced with this birth…(do not recommend I am type 1 diabetic and this was how the first was managed-We do things differently these days). My husband was an amazing coach and got us through this induction without meds! The birth was long, but very worth it! We were rewarded with a sweet baby GIRL!
Baby #2
I was able to go into labor naturally!!!! Whew! This guy came to us in the middle of the day, and without my husband reading my labor signs, we would have had this guy in the car! My husband, because of his Bradley Training, was able to read my labor and knew just when I needed to get into the car to go! We had this baby 20min after getting to the hospital! Now days I would love to have had him at home, but that just wasn’t the plan then. We had a sweet baby BOY!
Baby#3
This was another induction, and my LAST! (diabetic thing again). This birth was another long one, due to the induction. We labored so well without meds, that when my husband told the staff I was ready to push, they didn’t think I was serious. They came into the room as babies head was being born and caught the rest of her in shock and amazement. We were blessed with a GIRL!
Baby #4
Yay! I got to go into labor naturally! This little one came on with one BIG contraction that woke me in the night and then they continued until the birth. This was an average length labor that gave us another little GIRL!
Baby #5
This labor was a real surprise when it started. I was only 37wks and it was the earliest that I had gone into labor. We labored and were blessed with another sweet BOY! This guy was the first to end up in the NICU for some blood sugar and breathing issues, but eventually after a few days was strong and ready to go home! Thankfully because I was unmedicated, I was able to visit my baby in the NICU right away and did NOT have to wait for an epidural to “wear off”.
Baby #6
This was a long labor that started in the night and lasted until the next morning. It was one of the more gentle labors that, had my husband not been able to read the signs, we would have not made it to the hospital. We birthed our little BOY in the morning hours and it was so peaceful!
Baby #7
This one was a roller coaster! I had a ton of Braxton Hicks and had been pregnant the longest I had ever been…we were also in a very stressful time of life…there’s definitely a correlation! I had gone two hours away from home, three hours away from our birth place on a day trip with my sister. My husband warned me that he thought I might go into labor. Well, he called me when we were about to be coming home to tell me some good news related to the stress we were under and I cried out of joy! Then as my sister and I walked to her car, my water broke! After calling my husband and my sister speeding home for me to meet my husband on the highway to continue our trip to the hospital I birthed our sweet little GIRL on the hospital bed without a Dr. because again, they did not believe me when I expressed the need to push. I was low lighting, quiet and calm.
Baby #8
This baby was in a hurry! We arrived at the hospital in the middle of the night, and within an hour we were ready to have a baby. The Doctor barely made it because they had to wake him up and he caught our little BOY just as he walked into the room!
Baby #9
After my two previous births, I honestly liked waiting until the last minute to get to the hospital! This time, I had been having so much pre-labor activity that when it was time, my body was ready! It was another “stop-n-drop!” We got there and basically were ready to push! This time my oldest daughter was able to attend with my husband to see our baby BOY being born!
Baby #10
I jokingly say…10 is a WIN! We got to have a HOME BIRTH!!!! Through doing doula work, I was blessed to meet a midwife that was comfortable with Type 1 diabetes and was willing to take me on! This was by far the BEST and HAPPIEST pregnancy and birth I had!!! I woke to a BIG contraction in the morning, and immediately called the midwife because she was a little over two hours away. My husband readied our birth space and coached me until the midwife came. Our baby GIRL was born about 30 minutes after the midwife got there with her three older sisters in attendance!
Are we done????😳….don’t know what God has planned but for now we are enjoying the ride with 10!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
